14-16 Truckee River Whitewater Park and Kayak Course Grand Opening: The new $1.5 million downtown Reno Truckee River Whitewater Park and Kayak Course, Nevada’s first kayak slalom racing course, grand opening event will feature the world champion, an invitational competition, demos, clinics, live music, a kayak movie, vendors, food and drink and much more. 26-July 2 Volleyball Festival: The Volleyball Festival is the world’s largest annual sporting event, just slightly smaller in number of participants than the summer Olympics.
