We Are . . .
The
IATSE is the labor union which represents stage employees, moving
picture technicians, and craftspersons in the entertainment industry
including live theatre, film and television production. We're
the union of the men and women who work behind the scenes of
the entertainment industry. Stagehands, riggers, gaffers, grips,
greenspersons, wardrobe, best boys, propmakers, set dressers,
grips, electrics, special effects, medics, craft service, sound,
and scenic artist technicians that make the "MAGIC"
behind the scenes happen.
As
a Union, we try to negotiate contracts with companies that provide
our members with a decent wage and decent health and retirement
benefits. We have been serving the Theatre, Convention and Film
Industries in the State of Nevada since 1914.
